Special Agents The career I would like to pursue is in the criminal justice field. I can see myself being a special agent or a criminal investigator. A special agent and a criminal investigator will prepare reports that detail investigation findings. They also obtain and verify evidence by interviewing and observing suspects and witnesses or by analyzing records. They may identify case issues and evidence needed, based on analysis of charges, complaints, or allegations of law violations. Also they Investigate organized crime, public corruption, financial crime, copyright infringement, civil rights violations, bank robbery, extortion, kidnapping, and other violations of federal or state statutes. They obtain and use search and arrest†¦show more content†¦You must also be able to have integrity, stress tolerance, self-control, dependability, attention to detail, cooperation, initiative, concern for others, adaptability/flexibility, and leadership. This occupation usually involves using communication and organizational skills to coordinate, supervise, manage, or train others to accomplish goals. This job pays well; it’s on hourly pay which is compensation, usually financial, received by workers in exchange for their labor. There are also other ways of pay such as salary which is a fixed regular payment, typically paid on a monthly or biweekly basis. There’s also commission and bonus wages. Getting paid on commission is a sum of money that is paid to an employee upon completion of a task, usually selling a certain amount of goods or services. And a bonus payment is usually made to employees in addition to their base salary as part of their wages. The median wage is about 34.51 hourly and $71,770 annually. The employment rate is pretty high but not too bad it’s about 119,000 employees. There are about 30,100 projected job openings. Out of all the occupations out there I honestly can say that the criminal law field just inspires me and makes me want to help people. I have a couple cops in my family already but they are all males, I want to be the first female out of the family to join the law.
